Shareholder offerings / Rights issues

Raise capital with the people already invested.

A rights issue gives existing shareholders the opportunity to participate in a company’s next capital raise. We help coordinate the structure, communication and execution.

A little more clarity

Questions worth asking.

Who is a rights issue intended for?

It is an offer to the company’s existing eligible shareholders under the applicable terms. Entitlement, application and any renunciation provisions are set out in the issue documents.

What determines the timetable?

The applicable framework, the securities being offered, required approvals and the company’s readiness. A transaction-specific timetable should be agreed with the appointed intermediaries.

Can the terms be decided before the preparation review?

The objectives can be discussed early, but the final structure and terms should follow a review of the company’s circumstances and applicable requirements.
